Camp day #1
Hello all!
Sorry for not updating, this is Haiti so there was not internet for the past couple of days. Yesterday was the first day of our camp. Everything went well and we are very excited for today to go back! The kids enjoyed playing soccer, getting their faces painted, learning karate and getting a plate full of rice. Knowing that these kids probably hadn't eaten in a long time, it was amazing to see how they were so patient and waited until all 200 kids got their food and we prayed before they started eating. They shared with each other the toys we passed out and were so greatful to us.
Time to get moving, a more detail blog to come tonight!
